Thanks for the poem. I very much liked and would like to add it permanently on its own page. See our poets page. In fact, it would be excellent you would send me a few more pieces to look at.

1.) Stop whipping out the race card every chance you get.
2.) Quit complaining about so-called “injustice” at the hands of White America when you people (yes, I said it) have been spoon-fed everything you have. Welfare, Affirmative Action…all gifts showered upon you by Whitey..
3.) If you do not want people to perceive blacks in general as thuggish, or as criminal, or as unintelligent, perhaps blacks should stop acting like thugs, committing such a disproportionately high number of crimes, loose the Ebonics/tribe-speak and start speaking proper English, and start valuing education instead of dropping out of high school (again at rates that rival only Hispanics) and leeching off the system.

I’d say if you can accomplish those things as a race, you’re on your way. Of course even then no self respecting white person would want to associate with you people (said it again), but you’d be one step closer to “living the dream”!
